Yearly Maintenance Contracts

Building owners and building managers and occupiers have a responsibility to adhere to annual or bi annual maintenance inspections of their building, including roofs, rainwater pipes and gutters. These matters can sometimes be overlooked amongst daily pressures and constraints.

Health & Safety

In some cases – routine roof and gutter cleaning is left to an “odd job man” who may not possess the necessary skills or equipment to prevent falls or potential injury.

Before issuing a quotation for an annual contract, our experienced roofing inspectors will:

  • Inspect to ensure safe access
  • Inspect the proximity of trees and whether overhanging branches can be removed before making judgement on the number of visits required
  • Make judgement on initial debris clearance prior to a regular maintenance schedule

Annual or bi-annual maintenance contracts would include:

  • Inspection for signs of degradation of all roofing coverings, flashings, mastic sealant, mortar pointing and upstand details.
  • Remove debris from roof surface, rainwater, gutter and outlets.
  • Removal of vegetation growth and effective advice on suitable choices of moss killer
  • Minor repairs will be carried out within allocated time on site – or quote will be issued for longer term tasks

Insurance Work Services

Should you be in the unfortunate position where a leak occurs at your property, sometimes you will be covered via your insurance company. If this is the case, works would be completed as required with yourself and you could potentially claim via your insurance. Normally this would be caused via the nature of storm damage, however, please be advised that the insurer will decide about the potential claim.
